Solo is an extra virgin olive oil from an extraordinary place – Baños de la Encina, in the province of Jaén, one of the most renowned olive oil producing regions in the world.

As the name suggests, Solo stands for simplicity and purity. Inspired by the belief that when things are created locally, fairly and without a rush, the rewards are much greater.

Siblings Ana and Juan started this project as a homage to their grandfather who spent his whole life nurturing the ancient olive fields. Drawing upon this rich history and tradition, we wanted to showcase the oil by creating a series of organic textures that highlight what’s inside the bottle. The designs also help differentiate each variety of olive. By combining this powerful palette with a striking typeface and bold packaging, we aimed for a high-end look to ensure the product stands out in the world of olive oil.
