Founded in Barcelona in 2017 Cokoté is a children’s fashion brand which produces limited collections of locally-manufactured, high quality textiles. From classic basics to isometric photography and illustrated patterns, their clothes are designed to be comfy and modern but not childish.
The identity is designed to resemble a children’s game by using a wordmark with a palette of six soft colours.
Cokoté asked Hey to develop a carefree brand that reflected their own personality and purpose: to turn each piece into a work of art and to be an active part of a world of creativity for both parents and children. Hey created the advertising claim, Clothes for fun, to reflect an attitude towards life, where children should just be playing and having fun.
A symbol was also created, a face formed by the two letters “o” of Cokoté, to give the brand a character that comes alive and expresses its own feelings. We developed a solid visual identity system that identifies the brand as unique, but is also fluid so it can work on its own as a brand language.
