BlackBird is a company that allows anyone to fly for less than the price of driving. But more than that, BlackBird defies gravity and exists to inspire and enable everyone to rise above the logistics and limitations that drag us down.

We developed a series of illustrations based on famous landmarks from America, where BlackBird operates. The designs use a reduced monochromatic palette of three colours, creating depth in each scene and making them simple, recognisable and bold.

To connect with BlackBird’s main concept – Defy Gravity – the sky was given prominence in the composition to provide a sense of open space and create a cohesive system. This means that no matter the landscape being depicted, the sky remains a common visual thread.
